This is a Beta Class and is being provided free to all attendees in exchange for a 20 minute discussion on how the class can be improved following the presentation.

This course provides a basic understanding of Net Zero Energy Design, including learning the four NZED options, learning the difference between Green Design and Net Zero Energy Design, learning about emerging concepts and technologies that contribute to successful NZED, and learning the importance of architects taking the lead in order to achieve 100% Net Zero Energy Design by 2030.

Learning Objectives:

The participant will learn the definition of Net Zero Energy Design with the four options; and will learn the difference between green design and Net Zero Energy Design (NZED)

The participant will understand how emerging building design concepts and technologies contribute to Net Zero Energy (NZED)

The participant will understand lessons learned from completed Net Zero Energy Design (NZED) projects.

The participant will better understand how critical it is for architects to take the lead in achieving full 100% Net Zero Design for all new projects by 2030.
